Ramirez was indicted on three charges: knowingly possessing a firearm by a convicted felon, 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1); possessing with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine, 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1), (b)(1)(A); and knowingly possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking offense, 18 U.S.C. § 924(c)(1)(A)(i).
