On August 5, 1987, Raymond and Gertrude Borden, husband and wife (together, the Bordens), entered into a purchase and sale agreement to sell two adjacent lots (lots 11 and 12) located at 776 East Street in Carlisle to their daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Edward Daniel Humm, Jr. (together, the Humms).
