Dominique Lewis appealed his conviction for brandishing a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 924(c)(1)(A)(ii), asserting his trial violated the Double Jeopardy Clause in the Fifth Amendment of the United States Constitution.1 Relying on our precedent, a panel of this Court held Lewis waived his double jeopardy claim by not asserting it before the district court.
