¶ 1. The appellee's motion for rehearing is denied. The original opinion is withdrawn, and this opinion is substituted therefor.

¶ 2. International Paper Company("IP") appeals from a jury verdict finding IP forty-eight percent liable for personal injuries sustained by James Alvin Townsend ("Townsend"), and fixing Townsend's damages at $2 million.1
