I. Introduction

Defendant-Appellant Fedel Vera-Flores pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a firearm by an illegal alien, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(5)(A). He received a sentence of twelve months and one day, to be followed by three years' supervised release.
