The defendant appeals his conviction of second-degree murder and life sentence. We affirm.

The defendant contends he should receive a new trial because evidence that a witness was threatened before trial was improperly admitted, and because witnesses revealed that the defendant had already been convicted of the charged offenses in a previous trial.
