This suit arises from as a contract dispute between Ronald M. Lamarque ("Lamarque") and Barbara Enterprises, Inc. ("BEI"). BEI was retained by Lamarque to do extensive renovations to his home in New Orleans.

The contract between Lamarque and BEI was confected on or about 24 May 2000. The contract provided for extensive renovations to Lamarque's home to be completed within one calendar year...
