In July 2006 the circuit court of Cook County found that Brian Sheetz, a minor, was the child of the marriage of petitioner Sheila Mannix and respondent Daniel Sheetz, and declared respondent the father of the child. Petitioner appeals from the trial court's decision, arguing that the circuit court had no jurisdiction to hear this matter...
