Officer Leon Defelice was dispatched in response to an anonymous call regarding a person selling Lortab in the area of Hopkins Street and Ambassador Wes Lemelle Street in New Iberia. Officer Defelice located an individual matching the description given by the informant three blocks from Hopkins Street.
