On October 15, 2005, the defendant, Michael Campechano, was arrested and charged with simple burglary in violation of La. R.S. 14:62. On January 9, 2006, the State filed a bill of information charging Campechano with simple burglary. The case was set for arraignment on January 19, 2006.
