OPINION BY KLEIN, J.:

¶ 1 John Dillow recovered both compensatory ($271,000) and punitive damages ($155,000 against Funk and $100 against Myers)1 after liability was admitted in a negligence law suit filed as a result of a vehicle accident. Dillow, who was in a parked truck on the shoulder of a road, was struck by a truck owned by Defendant Funk Water Quality Company and operated by Defendant's employee, Edward John Myers.
