Appellant, Glenna Fisher ("Fisher"), and Appellee, Frank Perez ("Perez"), were involved in a car accident on the Palmetto Expressway. Perez allegedly suffered various injuries in the accident and filed suit against Fisher. The lawsuit proceeded to trial where the focus was whether Perez's injuries were caused by the accident or were instead the result of a pre-existing degenerative condition.
