Valley View Angus Ranch (Valley View) appeals from the district court's grant of summary judgment in favor of Duke Energy Field Services (Duke). The court concluded Valley View's federal claims were precluded by the doctrines of claim and issue preclusion due to a defense it raised in related state litigation brought by Duke.
