Jerome Weathington pleaded guilty to five counts of armed robbery, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1951(a), and one count of brandishing a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 924(c)(1)(A)(ii). After the district court accepted his guilty plea, Mr. Weathington moved at the sentencing hearing to withdraw it. The court denied the motion and sentenced Mr. Weathington to 22 years' imprisonment...
