Gregg McKinney entered a no contest plea to simple arson causing damage in excess of $500, obstruction of justice, and malfeasance in office. The trial court sentenced McKinney to 15 years at hard labor, a fine of $2,000, and restitution of $21,000, for the simple arson conviction. McKinney received a sentence of 5 years at hard labor on the obstruction of justice conviction and 5 years at hard labor and restitution of $409 for the malfeasance in office...
