A jury found Maurice Warner guilty of kidnapping, false imprisonment and battery. The false imprisonment offense was merged with the kidnapping, for which the trial court sentenced Warner to serve fifteen years in confinement and five years on probation. The court imposed a 12-month sentence for the battery, ordering that sentence to be served concurrently with the kidnapping sentence. Warner appeals...
