Defendant, Farm Bureau General Insurance Company of Michigan, appeals by leave granted the trial court's denial of its motion for summary disposition. We reverse and remand.

I. FACTS

On January 6, 2003, plaintiffs, Elizabeth K. McGraw and John W. McGraw, husband and wife, were involved in a head-on collision with a vehicle operated by teenager Lindsey R. Soentgen. Mrs. McGraw was discharged the following day from St. Mary's Medical Center...
