Appellant Broadie was charged in an indictment with one count of first-degree murder while armed and one count of carrying a dangerous weapon ("CDW"). After a jury trial, he was convicted of the lesser included offense of voluntary manslaughter while armed ("VMWA"). The jury acquitted him of first-degree murder while armed, the lesser included offense of second-degree murder while armed, and CDW. On appeal he presents two claims of error. First...
