For personal injuries he sustained in a car wreck, Jason Mills brought this action against the driver and the owner of the other car involved in the accident. Mills also asserted a claim against the defendants' insurer, Allstate Insurance Company, for Allstate's alleged breach of a duty to adjust Mills' loss fairly and promptly.
