Rodney Jensen pled guilty to conspiring to distribute more than 500 grams of methamphetamine, and to possessing with intent to distribute more than 500 grams of methamphetamine. Because he had sustained two previous convictions for drug trafficking offenses, Jensen was subject to a mandatory term of life imprisonment, pursuant to 21 U.S.C. §§ 841(b)(1)(A) and 851.
