The plaintiff, the National Association of Government Employees, Local R1-200, appeals from the order of the trial court denying its application to vacate an arbitration award rendered in favor of the defendant, the city of Bridgeport. On appeal, the plaintiff claims that the court improperly concluded that the arbitration award was not a result of a manifest disregard of the law by the presiding arbitrator.
