No. S06A1922.

642 S.E.2d 806 (2007)

YOUNG v. The STATE.

Supreme Court of Georgia.

March 26, 2007.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Michael Lanier Edwards, Jennifer R. Burns, Savannah, for Appellant.

Spencer Lawton, Jr., Dist. Atty., Ann McNellis Elmore, Asst. Atty., Thurbert E. Baker, Atty. Gen., for Appellee.

HINES, Justice.

This Court granted Kareem Kenyatta Young's ("Young") application for interlocutory appeal of the trial court's ruling that the State could introduce evidence of a prior act at his trial. Finding that even though the trial court misapplied this Court's precedent in Williams v. State, 261 Ga. 640, 409 S.E.2d 649 (1991), it nonetheless reached the correct result, we affirm.
