Hoerer, appeals from his conviction after a jury trial of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (720 ILCS 570/401(f) (West 2002)) and involuntary manslaughter (720 ILCS 5/9-3(a) (West 2002)). He contends that his counsel was ineffective for stipulating to the admission of testimony that defendant had entered into plea negotiations with the State and that the trial court committed reversible...
