Tyrese Hyles was indicted on murder-for-hire charges pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 1958(a) and conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire charges pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 2. The government sought the death penalty. After hearing the evidence at trial, a jury convicted Hyles of both charges.
