Kriska appeals from a circuit court order affirming the decision of the Wisconsin Employment Relations Commission (WERC) dismissing Kriska's appeal on the basis that it did not have jurisdiction. Kriska contends that WERC does have jurisdiction to hear the appeal of his dismissal from employment as a Supervising Officer 2 by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections (DOC).
