Meghan Greene and her boyfriend, Donald L. Clavette, lived together in a home they shared with their one-month-old child. Following a disagreement, Ms. Greene left their residence with the child to stay with friends. A few hours later, a highly intoxicated Mr. Clavette forced his way into the home where Ms. Greene and the child were staying, pushed her down and tried to take the child.
