Shay Demond Gilliam ("Gilliam") appeals his conviction of possessing a concealed weapon after having been convicted of a felony, in violation of Code § 18.2-308.2.1 On appeal, Gilliam contends that the knife he possessed was not a proscribed weapon under the statute and, thus, the evidence was insufficient to support his conviction.
