HILL, Justice.

[¶ 1] After approximately 180 pounds of marijuana were discovered in the van in which Guillermo Marquez-Guitierrez was a passenger, he was arrested. A jury found Marquez-Guitierrez guilty on three counts of drug-related charges. He claims that the district court erred in denying his motion to suppress the marijuana because he was illegally detained and there was no reasonable suspicion present.
