The defendant, Tony Joseph Tabor, was charged by amended bill of information with one count of second degree kidnapping, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:44.1, and pled not guilty. Following a jury trial, he was found guilty as charged by unanimous verdict. He moved for a new trial and a post-verdict judgment of acquittal, but the motions were denied.
