Defendants appeal the trial court's granting of summary judgment in favor of the plaintiff, Charmaine Johnson, declaring that Ms. Johnson's testamentary usufruct of her residence attached to insurance proceeds that were paid as a result of its damage by Hurricane Katrina, which rendered the house uninhabitable. For the reasons that follow, we affirm.
