Following a jury trial, defendant was convicted of armed robbery, MCL 750.529, and assault with a dangerous weapon, i.e., felonious assault, MCL 750.82(1). He was sentenced to 81 to 135 months' imprisonment for the armed robbery conviction and 12 to 48 months' imprisonment for the felonious assault conviction.
