Appellant was found guilty of one count of unlawful possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) in violation of D.C.Code § 48-904.01(d) (2001). He challenges the trial court's denial of his motion to suppress the cocaine evidence on the ground that his Fourth Amendment rights were violated. We hold that, on the facts and circumstances of record, the motion to suppress should have been granted...
