Plaintiffs commenced this action seeking to recover damages for severe brain injuries sustained by infant plaintiff Kathryn Sarah Leipold in 1996. The parties ultimately agreed to settle the action and placed a stipulation on the record in Supreme Court on June 14, 2006.
