These consolidated appeals arise from an investigation conducted by defendants into plaintiffs' alleged criminal violations of the Michigan Campaign Finance Act (MCFA), MCL 169.201 et seq. We hold that plaintiffs improperly sought to challenge district court orders by initiating original civil actions for superintending control, mandamus, and injunctions and that the circuit court erred by failing to dismiss the cases.
