On February 9, 2005, Danny Hope was convicted in the Hinds County Circuit Court of two counts of armed robbery, and following a sentencing hearing conducted approximately two months later, Hope was sentenced on April 8, 2005, to thirty years confinement upon each count, to run concurrently.
