In this medical malpractice action, we affirm the judgment granting the peremptory exception of prescription and dismissing plaintiff's claims.

FACTS

At approximately 7:20 on the evening of March 1, 1999, Robert Edwards presented to the emergency room ("ER") at Lincoln General Hospital. Edwards gave a history of diarrhea, vomiting for two days, increasing shortness of breath for two months, lethargy, and having passed out for a few seconds...
