SCHUMAN, J.

Defendant was convicted of robbery in the first degree, burglary in the first degree, and two counts of assault in the second degree. The state stipulated that defendant was suffering from a mental disease or defect at the time of the crimes; consequently, he was found guilty except for insanity. ORS 161.295. The court imposed consecutive sentences, committing defendant to the jurisdiction of the Psychiatric Security Review Board for a term of 60 years...
