¶ 1. Marcus Bates appeals his conviction of cocaine possession pursuant to Section 41-29-139(c)(1)(B) of the Mississippi Code Annotated (Rev.2005). Officers from the Madison County narcotics unit pulled Bates over in March 2003 for unlit brake lights.
