Tammy Forbes sued Clemens K. Stoeckl,1 her former dentist, alleging that he treated her negligently over several years and caused permanent damage to her teeth and jaws. The circuit court granted partial summary judgment to Stoeckl, holding that claims based on any treatments occurring more than three years prior to the suit's filing were time-barred.
