UPON A REHEARING EN BANC

A jury convicted Rodney William Lightfoot of three counts of robbery, three counts of using a firearm in the commission of a felony, and being armed while entering a bank with the intent to commit larceny. At trial, Lightfoot made a Batson motion in response to the Commonwealth's use of peremptory strikes to remove two African-American women from the venire, which the trial court denied.
