George Helmstetter was convicted in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado on six counts of passing, uttering, and possessing counterfeit notes with intent to defraud. See 18 U.S.C. § 472. On appeal he challenges the peremptory challenge of a potential juror on the basis of youth and claims that his Fifth and Sixth Amendment rights were violated when the district court precluded testimony about his codefendant...
