¶ 1. James D. Lewis was convicted of aggravated assault in the Circuit Court of Itawamba County. He appeals asserting as a single issue that the trial court erred in failing to grant his motion for judgment notwithstanding the verdict ("JNOV") or, in the alternative, a new trial.
