David Ridgeway pled guilty to 22 fraud-related counts in 1992.1 In 1993, he was sentenced to 48 months imprisonment2 and three years of supervised release. He was also fined $50,000 and ordered to pay $100,000 in restitution to the Louisiana Insurance Guaranty Association (LIGA).
