A jury found Clance Whitaker guilty of aggravated assault and aggravated battery.1 On appeal, Whitaker challenges the sufficiency of the evidence, arguing that the State did not disprove that he acted in self-defense. He also contends that the trial court abused its discretion in admitting certain evidence and that the trial court improperly commented upon the evidence.
