The Rapides Parish Grand Jury indicted Defendant, Craig L. Bailey, along with Sherrod Wilson and Corday Taylor for first degree murder. Thereafter, the State gave notice of its intent to seek the death penalty. Subsequently, the prosecution amended the indictment to charge the Defendants with second degree murder. After jury selection began, Defendant severed his trial from his co-defendants and pled guilty...
