[¶ 1] David Kunze appealed from a criminal judgment entered after a jury found him guilty of the offense of assaulting a correctional officer. Kunze argues his constitutional right to a fair and impartial trial was violated when the district court ordered that he should be physically restrained with handcuffs and a waist restraining belt during his jury trial.
