The defendant, Nazra Mungroo, appeals from the judgment of conviction, rendered after a jury trial, of larceny in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-122 (a)(2) and falsely reporting an incident in the second degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-180c (a)(3). The defendant claims that the trial court improperly (1) denied her motion for a judgment of acquittal, (2) precluded her from asserting a missing witness argument...
