Roy James Coffel appeals his conviction for driving while intoxicated (DWI), second offense. See TEX. PENAL CODE ANN. § 49.04 (Vernon 2003) (defining crime of DWI), § 49.09 (Vernon Supp.2007) (providing enhanced penalties for subsequent convictions).
