Christopher Offord pled guilty to first-degree murder and was sentenced to death after a penalty-phase trial. The only issue Offord raises on appeal is whether death is a proportionate punishment in his case, where the trial court weighed one aggravating circumstance against two statutory mitigators demonstrating that Offord suffers from serious mental illness.
