Lester McDevitt was tried by a jury and convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol to the extent it was less safe for him to drive and driving without a license. He was also charged with and pled nolo contendere to failure to maintain lane, speeding, and driving left of the centerline. The state nolle prossed a second speeding charge.
